I would like to know a good build in between this budget. I'm currently thinking of getting i5 3570 (non-k edition) and a GTX series graphics card (still not sure which one)
I currently have:
-Case: NZXT S340
-PSU: Corsair CX600 (I know it's not the best unit out there, but I'm sure it'll get the job done, if I have any doubts of the PSU, I will replace it with a Seasonic M12 series.

**PCPartPicker seems to mark some PSU prices lower than actually advertised due to out of stock or shipping rate not included or not updated.**

I'm looking for $600-700 to be spent on the rest of the components:
-Processor (I'm thinking of the 3570 non "k" edition due to the fact that I won't really be overclocking)
-Mobo (It doesn't have to have OCing capabilities nor SLI or CROSSFIRE
-RAM(8gb minimum)
-GPU (Would prefer NVidia's GTX 700 or 900 series.. personal preference, no hate on AMD)
-Hard Drive 500gb or more

No ssd, optical drives, nor os

What about hard drive and OS?

For $600 without case or PSU try -

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($96.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard ($87.23 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($70.97 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.88 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($172.98 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) ($99.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $578.02

My bad, I just updated it and included Hard Drive, no OS..

OK, then try -
