whats a good power supply for 2016 for hardcore power usage gaming brand wise

I'm a fan of the Supernova series by EVGA

every brand makes a few crap models, they have to cover a wide price range, so going by brand is not that good an indicator alone, look at corsair, the RMx is awesome, the old CX series is garbage.
