What's the primary use for this build going to be? If it's gaming I'm going to say no, this would be far better:

Alright, I can spend about $900 so this will help a bit. Thinking of using the i5 3570 for my cpu. I was also told that the asrock motherboards have a high rate of return, so Im thinking of getting an ASUS board instead, just not sure which one.

I'm in Cincinnati and yes, there is one that is close. Unfortunately, my pc is already in a local shop near my house because it stopped rebooting over a week ago. I was going to have to pay like $250 for them to back up all my data and reinstall Windows 7.

Since my pc is MIA, I figured this would be a good time to get a new one. They are waiving labor charges if I have them build me a new pc, but ordering parts through them is costing me about $200 to $250 more than getting parts from online, so it all balances out in the end.

The guy has been real friendly and has spent a lot of time helping me. I would feel bad if I had someone else build my pc, but he obviously has bias for the AMD CPU's while I am beginning to lean towards the I5 3570.

Oh, I do not plan on overclocking so it is my understanding that the 3570P is the same as 3570k without the overclocking. Also, which CPU will better handle every day tasks since this wil also be my primary work pc.

Thanks!

Don't get the 3570 without getting the unlocked model. Otherwise you're paying money for no gain in performance. There's no difference between the 3350P, 3470, and 3570. You might as well get the less expensive CPU and put that money elsewhere.
