Good Card that doesn't need external power

Hi so i am thinking of spending $100 to buy a graphics card without external power.
I need on it OpenGL 4.4
Direct X 12
DDR3 memory compatability

Fwiw - the memory on a GPU does not need to match the memory on the motherbd. Good GPU's have used DDR5 for several years now.

If you don't truely require ddr3 then Newegg has an MSI gtx1050 for $95 that does not require external power and it won't even work up a sweat running thing s that the gt730 wouldn't even be able to.

Please let us know which motherbd & processor you have and your intended use so we can find a perfect match for you. The 1050 might not work in a real old board.
