My mom has asked me to build her a computer for the main purpose of autocad. I believe that I have found the components too a good computer, but there are alot more knowledgeable people out there. On my first build I had help from a member on this site, and I would like to ask for help on this build. Do I have any bottlenecks? Is there a way to improve the build without increasing price? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
I'd trash that whole build. Stay away from Intel SSDs - their reliability is GREATLY overstated. They use the crappy, slow, and outdated Sandforce 2.0 controller that is known for BSODs and errors. Apevia cases are garbage too, and the BD-R burner is unnecessary. Plus you don't want to pay $2K for a rig and pair it with a $50 case, that's no bueno, and that keyboard is way too expensive. And if you're not gaming you're probably better off going with a professional grade GPU like an NVIDIA K4000 or an ATI Fire Pro.

This would be better:

Thanks for the help. As you can tell from the build I am very in inexperienced with picking parts. putting them together is no problem, but picking them is a challenge. I do have a question about the graphics card you chose. You chose a 1GB card, and I chose a card with 3 GB. Is there any substantial difference between 1GB and 3GB?

The VRAM doesn't really matter until you start hooking up multiple displays. It also doesn't matter unless you're playing games. The card I chose is a professional grade card which is quite a bit slower than the gaming card, but it is made for drawing fine lines sharper.

As far as part picking goes - these brands you should avoid like the plague as they're known for producing extremely poor quality products: Apevia, Raidmax, Ultra, Xion, Xclio, In Win, Xcsource, Compucase, HEC, Apex, and Diablotek.

That is way better, you still don't need the $200 keyboard when you can get one that's 1/2 the cost like the one I have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823334013

I wouldn't bother with the Antec 900 though as it's quite a bit outdated and doesn't have any cable management, nor does it have room for any large CPU coolers. Get the Fractal Design Define R4 instead - it's a far superior case.

I know I don't need the keyboard. It will most likely get removed from the final pick. The look was one of the main reasons for the Antec 900, I will keep looking on the case.

Thanks again for all of the help. It is greatly appreciated
