Good computer for graphical design

I'm looking for a laptop for a friend that is good for graphical design for a program she taking at school, the price range is 1200$. the minimum specs it needs is

- i7 processor
- 8gb Ram
- 960m gpu
- 500gb HDD

these are just the basics specs she needs, obviously if it goes above that is fine, as long as its in that price range. its not for myself and i am looking into other things for her as well i just wanted to see what the Internets opinion had to say. Any and all help is appreciated.

I don't think that acer is even an ok deal.

There were sales on those that have moved, now your first one is more than mine, my sale is gone and your second one is way cheaper. When you ask questions like this you almost have to be ready to pull the trigger quickly.
