Good CPU for Streaming and gaming (QHD)

Good evening! I am an avid gamer and getting in to streaming. I currently run a 4790k at Stock speeds w/ a 1080TI . I constantly run in to a CPU bottleneck when streaming 720@60 or even 45FPS. I run games at 1440P on ultra. Looking to upgrade CPU , considering 7700K or 6850k. From what i understand the 6850 is better for multitasking but the price difference is big. Does anyone know if the 7700K will allow me to stream 720@60 FPS or 1080 at 30/45 FPS without issue?

For streaming the Ryzen 7 1700 or 1700X is the best CPU there in that price range is even considering things like shadowplay and Intel's quicksync. The Ryzen 1700 can also stream at 1080 60fps no problem from what reviews have shown the extra 4 cores/8 threads allows it to stream with little loss to your framerate. As far as the 7700k goes it will only be slightly better than what you currently have.

Thanks for the input! I am prone to staying away from AMD. I have heard good things, but i have been burned by both their processors and GFX cards in the past and had much better luck personally with Intel.
