I want to change my pc so I am really clueless on what I shall get.
The pc will be mostly used for homework and videos although I would like it to have gaming abilities. I am not a gamer but I would prefer to run skyrim and continent of the ninth at max for the short time I am able to play and honestly I don't intend to waste money on a boiling machine (hate overheating).
I know is a advantage to build the pc but believe me I live in Germany nord west and I don't prefer having all the problems with every piece since in the area I live there are only swindlers. I would as well preffer to get this pc directly and not buy online.
I found 2 desktops so my question which one shall I get?
http://www.saturn.de/mcs/product/HP-Envy-Phoenix-H-9-1346EG-i7-3770-16GB-1TB,48352,241163,564762.html?langId=-3 or shall I get a dell http://www.mediamarkt.de/mcs/product/DELL-XPS-8700-4259-i7-4770-12GB-2TB,48353,462747,717505.html?langId=-3 and upgrade it's graphic cards to a gtx 670/770 (honestly I may blable here cause I don't even know if it's possible to upgrade the dells gpu to a gtx 670).
so which one would be better for gaming and will hold me for a longer time?
or do you have any better Ideas?
I would like to spend no more than 1400€ on this rig and not buy it online.
I will only use one monitor (don't really care about resolution) http://www.mediamarkt.de/mcs/product/ACER-D220HQL,48353,462786,634586.html?langId=-3 (is the one I intend to buy because of the touch screen option (well I would happy to know if there are cheaper ones with touch option)).
16 gb ram won't be really necessarily since even the laptop I am using right now can handle everything (projects and videos) (8gb ram) well except for gaming lol.
Just ask me for more information and thanks a lot for wasting your time reading this and answering my question ^^
oh and this is my first time with a good desktop since I only bought laptops for mobility

well I ended up ordering the atelco gamez, sadly for 1300€ since they only sell the 1tb + 128 gb ssd version nowadays -.-""" and which I will be getting next week monday, hope everything will be k, though I won't pay the whole sum untill I get the rig! from what they told me I ended up understanding I will get a 5 years warranty O_O (hopefully they weren't on drugs or so cause it sounds pretty nice) and hopefully I made the right choice.

for the old pc:
I bought core: i5 4570 - 178€
mainboard: MSI B85-G41 PC Mate - motherboard - ATX - LGA1150 Socket - B85 - 40€ (for buying other pc)
ram: corsair vengeance 8gb - 30€ (for buying other pc)
psu: Corsair CX430M - power supply - 430 Watt - 40€
cooler: katana 3 - 12€
gpu: HIS Radeon HD 7850 Fan graphics card - Radeon HD 7850 - 2 GB - 130€
waste: 430 €
was that a good thing to do? (well is mostly web browsing but since I can upgrade the siemens tomorrow I wish to play c9 and sims 3 on it a bit. will it be able on high?)

guess so. if they really weren't drunk it means I will get 5 years warranty on the pc and on the parts for old one as well (though I will live to see it haha ^^).
I mean everywhere on their website you can see 5 years warranty now o.o and in their shops as well.
oh well the booze may create miracles (joking)

so about the build to replace for old pc, the parts that I just bought think it may run skyrim ,sims and vindictus on high (just for an hour without overheating would be nice) and did I buy good parts?

that sounds good.
haha I could use it as a playbox on the tv (running prince of persia 2 and 3 on huge screen would look good since pop ain't a performance game)

well thanks man you really helped out a lot ^^
can't wait to get that "5 years" warranty beast
hope it will last 3 years for a casual gamer ^^ (and of course I will be sweet enough to make use of that warranty at that time even if they hate me for it lol)
