So I had this problem in the past where my internet dowload speed is as it always has been, but my ping in games like Watch and Battlefield has gone from 70ms to 250ms. I have downloaded an Internet user program also make sure that no background tasks take up bandwidth, but I can not find any programs that take up bandwidth. So my question is whether someone might have a solution to my problem. Any response would be greatly appreciated :)

Solution
Then you have either a driver issue (uninstall/reinstall your networking driver), need to reboot your router, or need to contact your ISP.

Ping relates (for the most part) to distance to the server - a lot of games will allow you to select the server in your in-game settings.
Try that, and select the one closest to you (geographically). It may have switched the server it's sending you to.

What does something like speedtest.net report your ping as? (it's not a foolproof test, admittedly).

If your ping looks real bad there, then you likely have either a driver or ISP issue. If it appears fine and your poor performance is limited to games - then it's definitely a server issue.

Sorry to say, but it's not driver issue perhaps. It usally ISP issue. check with command in CMD
tracert <ipaddress> or <http://...>
as you see some routers between you and your game server has high ping.
It's not on you to solve problem. check tracert command always in during of night and day and check when you have low ping.
that's time you can play.
check this article and you can find out that how a connection can be high speed connection with high ping.
