Good First Build?

Is this a good build for a PC? I don't know much about PCs and I apologize in advance just incase it's garbage.

I'm trying to spend as little money as possible since I don't have the budget for crazy computers. Let me know if i could change something, but i'd like to stay under 500 dollars

Its all right for under $500. You won't do much better.

You'll also need an OS.

It's ok. there is surely no fat to cut. I'd say check ebay or something for a used gpu because the 240 is crap. You could find a solid 550ti or maybe a 560ti for that price.
