I currently have 8GB of Ram, a GTX 750 ti, a AMD 8350. What would be good for $150 and would it be better then what I currently have? Also would I need more power if I have a 550w?

GTX 950. It stays around $150 and is a good gpu for its price.
You won't find a graphics card that's a worthwhile improvement over the 750ti for $150. If you can, save up a bit more and buy a 960 or 380x. For $150, I'd recommend buying an SSD.
^ Agreed. I don't think upgrading from a GTX 750 Ti to a 950, is worth the trouble and expense. If I were in your position, I would put aside the $150 and save up an additional $100, and be on the lookout for a EVGA b-stock (factory refurbished) GTX 970. Even though that model of card has been out of stock for approximately 14 days, I've seen that card sell as low as $239. Upgrading from a 750 Ti to a 970 would offer 250% - 300% improvement in gaming performance, depending on resolution and gaming title. To put that in perspective, the GTX 970 is pretty close to one-half the performance of a GTX 980 Ti, which is still amazing. If you create an account and save your credit card info on the site, set an auto-notify, and are prepared to purchase the card at a moment's notice, then you could probably order one within the next 2-3 weeks. That's what I would do.
