im pretty new to pc gaming, so not sure IPS or TN
and 144Hz at 1440p and using nvidia 1070

maybe the HP OMEN X 35 35.0" 3440x1440 60Hz Monitor any good?

IPS panel (beautiful, and doesn't distort color from different angles), 144hz with Nvidia GSync, 1440p, low response delay, VESA mountable. For the record, though. your GTX 1070 won't be able to do 1440 @ 144hz with ultra/max settings (check my sig, I know).

Your main 2 options for a single monitor playing ultra/max are:
1. 1440p @ 60-75hz
2. 1080p @ 144hz

I highly recommend it for the 1070. Beautiful, thin bezel, and very low input lag. I play BF1 on all max settings @ 1440p 60hz.
