Good GAMING + RECORDING PC?

Hello everyone! Today I was wondering if the PC I am building next month will be good enough for gaming, recording and editing videos. The game I will be playing are CSGO, CoD, GTA 5, minecraft, LoL, and rocket league! Will I be able to play and record these games at a fps while recording? Also the parts I left out are the parts I already have. (Planning to buy the new AMD 480). So here's my build!

Had an R9 290, Shadowplay has been great since I've got an Nvidia card but I did find proper solutions with an AMD GPU. If you want you can argue or show facts really. Also the GCN graphics cards are supposed to ship with improved integrated codecs that will boost the recording quality in AMD's Game DVR, or whatever codec you can integrate it to (Dxtory, OBS, Afterburner etc.).

Hey um I don't know if you realized this but I said I am going to buy the new 480 coming out soon. And I added in ram so you might have come a minute before I updated.

I'm not sure if OP edited his post with the included RAM and GPU he wishes to buy later, but anyways that's an alright build. The MSI B150 Bazooka can't officially overclock, so you'd save tons of money with a i5-6500 and no CPU Cooler (Stock is more than strong enough). With the extra cash you could look into improving your choice of power supply, but also the case. Corsair released a few cases that provide better build quality and airflow. ( Spec-M2, 88R).

The board offers more features for $1 more, so I suggest choosing it. (USB 3.1, m.2, ect.)
The i5 6600k can't be overclocked regardless on a B150 board, so the i5 6500 will do just as well.
The memory is less expensive and offers a higher clock speed.
The case (in my opinion) looks much better and offers better features.
The power supply is of a higher class and will perform much better. (rated tier 2 by the PSU tier list, semi-modular, ect.)

If you want RECORDING PC amd is NO NO. You have ShadowPlay with Nvidia which doesn't use even 1fps from your performance. With that i5 you are going to limit game performance even when recording at max 720p60fps with OBS or some software. That motherboard is weak for overclocking but yet again you are getting non K version of cpu where i5 benefits most from overclocking those free 800-900mhz.

So you are looking at bad PC for upcoming "couple years" on youtube. I'm youtuber and living from that for about 4 years so far so I'm not trolling.

In best case scenario if you get this you will need capture card. But yet again you are limited to only those games in your main post so good luck with getting attention there. As for new games my words stay as mentioned.

I for one never liked shadow play. And why do you think the new 480 will be bad for recording???? And what makes you say the the i5 6500 will limit my performance?? Isn't it one of the newer and better generations? I was going to get the 6600k but the people up there said that it can't be overclocked. So I just put a 6500 in there.

I have no idea where you are going with your post, dsr07mm but I couldn't disagree more. You are saying AMD is not good for recording, thus it should be avoided. Therefore the PC is also bad because it can't record well.

Well firstly, AMD also has an app like Shadowplay called AMD Game DVR which is demonstrated here:

But overall I just disagree a lot, you are saying don't get AMD because it doesn't have Shadowplay. Great program but it doesn't at all mean the RX 480 is not great for recording.

Recording will be fine. The i5 is a powerful CPU, and while you may experience some framerate drops, it shouldn't be anything too serious that impacts gameplay. It really depends on what recording software you use. As listed above, the AMD built in software would work just fine.

I think there may be some frame drops because certain recording softwares can be taxing on the CPU (ie Fraps). When the CPU is trying to record and run a game that is intensive, it may lead to some frame dips.

Oh awesome. And also I'm thinking a bout buying action but it says I have to pick either home use or commercial use. I want to record and monetize my vids but it says if I do it with the home version they'll like blacklist my serial number or something. But how would they know??
