Good gaming setup?

I'm going to be building my first gaming PC soon. Are all the parts compatible? Will it run smoothly?
CPU: i5-4750
GPU: GeForce GTX 650
Mobo: MSI H81M-P33
RAM: 8GB
PSU: 500W

That is a low-end entry level GPU, so it will depend on what type of and which games you will be playing.

A GTX 660 or better is recommended for gaming these days, but a GTX 750 is better if you're looking for a budget gaming build. If you mean an i5-4570 CPU, then that sounds good.
