hello, I'm building my first system soon and this is a list of what i currently have in my watchlist:

i5 2500k
Nvidia gtx 660 oc
8 gb ram
1tb 7200rpm
Z77 motherboard

I plan on playing the following games like: far cry 3, battlefield 3 and metro 2033 what kind of FPS do you think i can expect with a 24 inch 1080P monitor and all at max to mid settings? also with all this work with a 500W PSU?
thank you for your time.

Ok I have suggestions for the parts.
CPU - i5 3570K
GPU - Radeon hd 7870
Mobo - Any z77 motherboard is good
Ram is fine.
1Tb hdd is fine. But also get a 60-120 gb SSD
PSU - Getting a modular PSU is better but it is not necessary. Also any PSU 500 watts and higher is good for your situation.
Hope this helped!

To get the most bang for your buck. You could go with the 7870.
