I have an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 motherboard and an AMD FX-6350 3.9Ghz processor. Went cheap with the GPU so I was wondering what would be a better GPU that could run some of the newer games on decent settings. I would like to start switching my gaming over to the PC from consoles so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, the GPU I have now is a ATI Radeon HD6450 GDDR3.

Depending on your budget the GTX 760 would be a great start to gaming as it is an affordable GPU that will play mostly all games at high or ultra settings at 1080p, the GTX 660 would also be fine with playing games at high to ultra settings

You could also go with the R9 270x which will give about the same performance as the 660, also what Power Supply do you have?

600w Thermaltake TR2 and Id like to stay within 250 to 300 dollars, but its not too strict if there is something much better for a little bit more.

Thanks! Ive definitely been looking into the GTX 760 recently but the whole thing with the power supply was kind of confusing me a little. I have a 600w Thermaltake TR2.

Then a GTX 760 would be a great choise, also, check this one out http://

Keep an eye out for a R9 280X at good price and grab it while its hot.
