Good graphics card with 4GB RAM or weaker graphics card with 16GB of RAM?

Hello, this is my first time here so I hope I'm in the right thread. I can't make a decision weather I should keep the 4GB of RAM I have and get a good graphics card, or if I should upgrade my RAM to 16GB and get a weaker graphics card. I already have a GTX 960 but that doesn't seem to cut it for me. I do a lot of video and image editing as well as a lot of coding. Just that fact screams to get the 16GB of RAM but I would also love to play games on Ultra settings at 1080p.

My budget is $210, any ideas on what I should do?

Solution
$210 is only enough for a 1050ti anyway which is the equivalent of a 960.

4gb ram is not enough for gaming or productivity full stop.

Spend your money on ram, to play new titles on ultra you need $350-400 anyway.
Video and image editing + coding could also benefit from 32 or even 64GB. Personally, I'd take 16GB as the minimum for this type of work, especially if you do such work on a regular basis. RAM is very expensive these days, but it should definitely be upgraded first, do not even think about 4GB. Later on upgrade the GPU, once the prices stabilize, and it seems like it is going this way already.

in all honesty, 16GB is all you need unless you browse the web and keep like 100's of tabs open... but who does that?
besides a handful of apps that are ram hungry, i cant think of any games right now that requires more than 16GB.

are you a graphics designer or animator or use cad? if no, then you dont need 32 or 64 GB. but I totally agree with Herrwizo, do not settle for 4GB. 4gb sucks... even for just basic desktop stuff.
