Good mid range PC?

i5 4440
Asus z87-k
Sapphire R9 270x 2gb
8gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz
120gb Kingston ssd
1tb WD blue
CX 600 psu
Nzxt s340
3 aerocool 120mm fan
Motherboard fan splitter

Can I play the latest games with this bulld. Also do the front of a PAC case act like a filter?

That's below average, not mid-range. R9 270X often doesn't cut it at 1080p, slow SSD, poor power supply. All these thing can be improved if you remove the SSD and perhaps a cheaper case yet one that is also good quality.

If you want to play games at such a budget, then you may be better off dropping the i5 for an i3 to fit in a better graphics card. What is your budget, around $500 USD?
