Good Quality Cheap 17"

I'm not in the market for a drop dead expensive monitor right now. The bottom prices in the U.K. are around £115. So for no more than £150 which monitor(s) is (or are) worth my consideration?

I currently have an LG Studioworks 77i 17" one, and it's fine, but I sometimes wonder if 4.5 years of technology has made it worth getting a bottom of the range new one. If LG ones are still decent, I'd like one, as I've had no probs at all! No speakers attached if you please.

Pop into the shops and have a look. If your current monitor is providing you with satisfactory service, then I don't see the need to replace it. But have a look anyway as you really should be the judge. I'm sorry if this wasn't much help, but considering that your monitor is working, it's difficult to recommend a replacement, as I don't know if it would be an improvement over what you currently have or if it's worth the expense. Visit some manufacurer's websites and look for tutorials on how to shop and what to look for. MonitorsDirect is a good site............. Good Hunting!

Well I had a look at the suggested options and for the money, they're not much of an improvement. 15W less consumption, 1kg lighter. 0.25 instead of 0.28 pitch.

I think I'll save my cash for a mid range monitor.
