Im looking for a good upgrade for this. It has served me well and i would recommend it for new PC gamers. But with all the new games coming out Like Far Cry 4 it just wont be able to run it as well so im looking for an upgrade for it. For around 250$-300$ And im also scared about compatibility (I have never changed my Graphics card yet) So i would love to know a good upgrade that is in my price range. Also compatible with my build and will run all the latest games. Thanks!

What about that would that be a good upgrade? Ive seen bad things about the graphics card you said and i dont wanna take chances.

It would be a substantial upgrade from your current gpu but nowhere near as powerful as the 290.
Generally Nvidia is going to cooler and quieter but it comes at a premium for performance.
