I want to replace my 7770 because the fps are pretty low even when I play games on low-mid setting. I have a tight budget of $140, so I can't really afford the HD7850, GTX 750, or the like.

My current PC setup:
- AMD FX-6300 Six-Core 3.5GHz
- Sapphire HD 7770
- XFX core edition 550 psu
- Corsair vegence 8GB ram

That's actually a much better option. Just make sure your cpu won't bottleneck better cards. A GTX 760 is a good option to save for ($200) without hassle, but if you wanna save some more, the GTX 970 is a HUGE improvement.

If you plan to get that, be ready to oc your cpu since it might bottleneck it.

UPDATE: Oopsies, forgot all about Radeon cards...
R9 280x is a bit more expensive than the 760 but works a ton better.

Again, these are the many options for you if you decide to save a bit more.

660 is meant to compete with the Radeon 7870 and 7850. It's in another league from the 7770. The 7770 is kind of in between the GTX650 and 650 Ti.
If however you mean the 7870, it beats the GTX 660 in gaming performance.

The same thing with the 750. Very miniscule to no improvement whatsoever.

I wish to ask now though , what games do you play that are unplayable even on low settings with this card?

games like insurgency, bf4, endless legend, the evil within, and some casual games. I can't even play BF4 on the LOWEST setting because I only get around 10-15 fps. I've seen youtube videos of people playing games on high-ultra settings with the 7770 while I can barely get 30fps max on games. I don't know if it matters , but I managed to build my first gaming pc a year ago.

check some gameplay and benchmarks on the youtube and you are good to go
