Would this be a decent enough gaming rig for the price(switching the graphics card to the ATI HD5850 for an extra £100) for running say some recentish games(say Call of Duty Black Ops) at an acceptable framerate and possibly some newer games maybe. Also I assume everything would be ok to run and the more expensive/better graphics card wouldn't require a better PSU or MOBO?

Basically I want to make sure this would be good enough for the price and that the better graphics card wont mean that the thing will go up in smoke due to the PSU not being able to handle it.

The motherboard is not good value at any price . The nVidia chipset boards are not as good as the AMD chipset boards . Its also obsolete and cant be upgraded to the next generation of AMD processors that are being released soon

If you can then
M5A88-V EVO
which costs more , but since it has onboard graphics you should be able to use that until you get the 5850 , but I cant work out how to do that on the website

Its pretty easy to assemble your own computer , so I'd be tempted to price the components of your build and assemble it yourself .
As a baseline that would give you an idea of the value you are either getting or not

Added up all the parts if I were to build it myself and it seems to work out around the same price. So basically as long as it's not going to blow up or have one shitty component let the entire thing down then i'm more than happy with it. Thank you for your time gentlemen!
