I am currently using AMD AMD FX-8320 ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ Motherboard 32 Gigabytes of RAM. I have an LG 27" monitor. Would like to know what video card would work best. I do not plan to use the system to run games. Also, should I upgrade the motherboard to a better AMD motherboard?

I'm not sure if the GPU can massively affect whatever you're doing, so long as you have one. Maybe go for something like a Radeon 270x or an Nvidia GTX 750Ti. It might also help to upgrade your motherboard because I don't think it supports Sata 6GB/s which might come in handy in the future.

The best way to know though is if someone more knowledgeable on the subject came along. It's just that from my experience with other programs, the CPU matters most.
