The challenge with quantum computing isn't "theoretical" performance, it's reliable and predictable results. The reason no specific results regarding "quantum supremacy" have been determined, is due to the lack of a way to provide reliable results. Basically the "testing" keeps coming up with different answer to the same questions.

No security method is safe for the public. we are living in the Age where governemnets put backdoors in the CPU itself .. how on earth do you expect Encryption keys to be safe ?

The only way to secure your data is hardware chips that both the sender and the reciever have , and they are just behind the lan port ... before the CPU
