[SOLVED] Google Chrome Black Screen

I had a pc that I had built and I just recently built a new pc. I used the hard drives from the old pc but everything else in my pc is new. I already had chrome installed and I tried uninstalling it but it takes me to the browser to uninstall it. I cannot however because the browser is just a black screen. I would like google chrome to not be a black screen because it is my preferred browser.

open microsoft edge, and download chrome installer from there
once downloaded, install it
