Google Chrome is using an insane amount of CPU! Help!

Whenever I open up a game such as SAS Zombie Assault 3 (which I have obviously had NO trouble running in the past) Google Chrome from the tiny amount it usually is to a massive 50-60%! Please help!

Yes well I did think of that, as I had installed a new one a couple hours before. However, I uninstalled it and I still had the same problem. I have just tried the same game and others and am still having the same problem.
