in the states that allow it, carry your personal side-arm and make sure it's a big one (and carry a backup too while you're at it lol). one of the VERY FEW situations where I actually agree with the sentiment that guns provide more safety

$1k would suck as i couldn't justify the expense... but drop that to below $500 and i'd be a buyer for sure
