while i like the aspect of off contract for $300... why not just inrease the memory so people will want it even more. i spent $20 bucks on a good patriot 32 gig thumbdrive on newegg... they can't possibly save mush on making it 8 gigs vs 32 gigs and then people would compare it to a 32 gig phone, or make it 64 gig and knock people's socks off.

seems liek a step backwards at 8-16 gigs given that it does not have a 4g antenna and my galaxy nexus came with 32 gigs onboard storage. sure it will have cloud storage but good luck acessing it at 3g speeds, on 3g my phone stakes forever to download updates or apps from the google play store and i am in a decent sized city where signal is considerably above average for the nation

i hope it sells well so the off contract pricing and buyign of phones can become popular but if this had expandable memory or 64 gigs plus onboard storage i would have been a costomer and been handing down the galaxy nexus to the wife ... now i will be holding on to it and hoping for something better to show up on the market in the next 6 months

For those wanting LTE. Why do you want it so bad? LTE just drains battery....and your wallet because you gotta have a more expensive plan which is capped.

HSPA+ with AT&T is unlimited and I get 8mbs where I live. T-mobile users get more. I only pay $10 a month for my data plan. I'm able to do Google Hangout, watch Neflix, use RDP, view my IP cams at home, and more...without any problems.
