Question Google Play Games for PC - Capped at 30FPS all of a sudden

Last year, I finally got to use Google Play Games Desktop beta and it was super decent. I play games like Cookie Run Kingdom with it and it ran at nearly 60FPS which amazed me.
But one day, around December, after some update, the VM suddenly running slower than usual.

So, I used Fraps to see what's the current maximum FPS the emulator's VM is at. Turns out, the VM got capped to 30FPS. No outside settings, no conflicting software, nothing. It just happens and I don't know why.

If you didn't get this issue, how can I solve this issue?

My CPU and GPU: Intel i5-7300HQ and GeForce GTX 1050
Again, it ran at nearly 60FPS before the update in December.

Tried the troubleshooter and none of the options are helpful... at least to my eyes
I did send an e-mail though

Also, they cap some games at 30FPS before? Which games?

Not even the latest update fixed the FPS cap
