[citation][nom]ofer[/nom]is not a billion searches a week but a billion sessions a week which sum up to a much bigger number of searches...[/citation]
I did think of that, every one of those billion people would have to perform over 350 searches per week to save a single second.
That is 50 searches per day.
You sleep 8 hours so in 16 hours remaining you make a Google search every 19 minutes on average to save a single second.

Before you say, "I make way more than that", this is an average, each one of those billion people, solid at the computer making 50 searches a day without fail - Christmas, funerals, weddings, holidays, fishing trips - I still dont buy it.

[citation][nom]Ciuy[/nom]whats bing? :F[/citation]
As I understand it, saving 11 hours per second means saving an avarage of 11 hours of roaming in unrelevant sites as a result of clicking the wrong search hits (i.e not just 11 hours of googling).

[citation][nom]Cyex[/nom]Overall I like it, but when I have typed half a word (and the other half shows in grey), it would be good if the END key would go to the end of that word, turning the grey characters to black. But instead the END key just goes to the end of the black letters you've been typing.[/citation]

Try the TAB key bro

[citation][nom]cronik93[/nom]That "Instant search" thing really pissed me off last night. Its so damn useless.[/citation]
Yeah ...how lazy are people that they can't wait 2 seconds to type, then search? It caters to the growing trend of ADHD kids.

Oh look! A birdie ...

11 hrs per second?

I'm not saying that they don't serve 1/6 of the planet...
but how would they even know that?
What are they assuming? That 5 or 6 people use each IP address a day?
Seems very unverifiable.

+1 for javascripts, malaware, zombies and bots and the same person clicking on the same link or pressing the back button 😛...

anything to please shareholders and CEO's.

Companies and government always manipulate numbers to THEIR advantage.
