[citation][nom]Lord Captivus[/nom]'Apple will release the "iglasses"...get it?? Mmm....maybe someone should patent that right now![/citation]
A quick domain search revealed that all variants of "iglasses" including .com .eu .net and .org are already registered and for sale!

Keep in mind for $1,500 you are buying a pre-production device (prototype) so it's going to be expensive at first. But you get the bragging rights of being first to own one.

thanks but no thanks.....battery life will suck big time....also, personally it will distract a lot of people.....people need to learn how to stop and enjoy life....don't get me wrong it love technology.

[citation][nom]brandonjclark[/nom]These are a bad idea. If nature intended for us to have a HUD, she would've provided it. I cannot see humans processing this information efficiently nor safely.Bad idea...[/citation] Next time you think about saying something stupid.... think about "nature" the next time you board an airliner, drive a car, turn on the TV, use the internet or even type a response.

to all the cheapos out there saying they won't buy it for $1500. GOOD!!! I hope they never drop the price, maybe then you'll understand the word "Value" and the word "Earnt"

this comment didnt make any sense at all. maybe if they charge you $3000 you still buy them? yes please, waste your elitist money on overpriced tech

1500$?!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm worried about breaking/sitting on/scratching my 20$ walmart sunglasses...
Until they bring the price down considerably, this is just a gimmick.
Let alone one article reviewer had a good point to say.. "So if this catches on, people will be talking to themselves all over, and you'll come across people just staring into nothing, while they're using these?" I do agree with him though, that would be annoying as hell, every now and then wherever you go you hear, "Glass do this, glass do that, glass take a picture, glasses blah blah blah"..
Sorry Google, it was a good concept, but I don't see it doing more than a TI85 calculator...

rocknrollz :
Those saying they wont pay more than 300 are not being realistic. I hope google doesn't sell for less than 500. This is a new type of tech that really deserves praise and a fair price for both consumer and google.

I just don't see how they could possibly charge that much. I mean, I got my Nexus 4 for $350 and it does so much more. The display is different, but I would consider the $350 I spent on my phone a much better value than a $500 HUD. We don't really know tech specs or cost of manufacture, but from a consumer standpoint, I would not pay that much for what they do.

You just THINK you paid $350 for your phone. Does a 2 year contract mean anything to you?
