So, I'm planning on getting a 3600X as my first Ryzen processor when they launch in July. I have been putting money aside for both the CPU and Mobo upgrade.

However, I also need to upgrade my RAM, and I was thinking on waiting for some benchmarks, to make sure I got some with good compatibility. But I just happened to get a pretty decent offer on
2x8GB G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX.
It's not gonna last until the Zen 2 launch though, so I wanted to ask the knowledgeable userbase here. Are these ram sticks, in your opinion, a safe buy for me? Thanks a lot :)

Those are very reputable ram sticks and have been in my personal category of best ram for mid range users. It is definitely a safe buy but if you may want to go the extra mile and snag some extra fast ram sticks as they wont be to under powered with ddr5 on the horizon in late 2019.

I see! There are a few other offers, I just thought these were especially nice, with a CAS Latency of 14 and all, heard that was good for Ryzen especially. Going up to 4000mhz, I can only seem to find with a CAS of 19. Would a pair of 8gb 3600mhz 16CAS F4-3600C16D-16GTZR be better, in your opinion?

Actually, I can get 16gigs of the 4400mhz viper steel PVS416G440C9K for almost the same price. Seems pretty brutal, but if it will future proof my system better, I'd definitely be willing to go there?
