Got a new motherboard and a SSD.

I'm planning on doing a fresh install of windows again, since i can't activate windows now.

So here's the deal, If i keep my SSD in my computer while installing windows, windows will be laying on the SSD. But if i take out my HDD while installing and put it back in when done, will there be 2 windows on my PC? Do i need to delete any system files from the HDD? I do not want to lose everything i have on my HDD, because it will be near impossible to get everything back.

It sounds like you need to copy your OS from the original hard drive to the SSD then set the SSD as the boot drive in the BIOS.

Ive used Paragon and it works well. As long as you dont tamper with or delete the partition in the primary drive, you wont lose any data in the process.
