I ordered a tachi ultimate z390 motherboard from newegg last week and it was just delivered today. It got delivered in an unsealed box and while it was in a foam shield thing, it was not in an anti-static bag.

I mean the motherboards are brand new so I doubt I got a "returned" item right? It doesn't look damaged to my eye.

Anyone else experience this?

I also have no idea what these are. There are 3 of these in the box, individually packaged screws lol.

The screws might be for the M.2 SSD mountings if they are extremely tiny.
As for the lack of anti-static wrap, I'm just as curious as you. I'm glad you posted this. I will be monitoring the thread for answers myself. If it were me, I think I'd contact Asrock (or hit the forum) and ask them.

The screws are definitely for the m.2 slots. There is always foam under the motherboard even with antistatic plastic. I would just install it and see if it works, try calling Asrock and,ask them if it is missing or a new packaging move. Would be a waste of time to return and,get another the same way.

I recently bought an Asus X470 Crosshair VII Hero and Asus Z390 Maximus VII Hero and neither came in an anti-static bag or a sealed box. They were sitting on top of the anti-static bag with a hard plastic shield over the mobo. Apparently unsealed mobo boxes an no anti-static are a thing now. :/

You'd have to RMA with the manufacturer I'm sure. You can always buy an i5-8400 for the time being and still be gaming better than AMD for the most part.

That's true maybe I'll give that a shot for now.
