Hi, I think there may be a problem with my HDD (WD green 2TB). Sometimes when I'm browsing through my files, I takes some time until I can get to the next folder.
And earlier today, a torrent download stopped and gave an I/O disk error.
I also had a problem where I couldnt copy a certain file from my HDD to my USB-stick.
The HDD is relatively new. Any thoughts?

Solution
If the retailer does not do it for you for what ever reason, you can always go to western digital's website and do it through them. Green drives have a 2 year warranty.

I ran WD Digital Data Lifeguard Diagnostics on it, the Quick Test failed and it said 'Status code = 07 (failed read test element), Failure Checkpoint = 97 (Unknown Test) Smart self-test did not complete.
I tried plugging it into a different sata port, that didnt help. Don't have any other sata cable lying around.

So I should RMA it then?
I started backing up some stuff, and suddenly it stop transferring data, and when I try to abort it, windows explorer crashes...
Damn, there's a looot of stuff on that drive :( it seems the retailer/WD rly screwed me over.

I've bought the HDD a few weeks ago, didnt think it would fail so fast.

Running the chkdsk now, hope that helps for the time being.
I'll contact the retailer on monday for RMA.
