I am trying to lock down my machine for my children but not my wife. I have a 2 year old that loves to play on the computer but totally screws it up. I have created a local policy that doesn't affect me (administrator) but it does apply to my children but unfortunately also to my wife. I followed this article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;293655
and it works great other than also affecting my wife's profile. Without making my wife an Administrator how could i create a different policy for her or just not apply to her. I know how to do it on a domain with GPO's and just applying that user to the policy but can that be done in a workgroup setting. Basically could i just edit the permissions on the registry.pol file under c:\windows\system32\GroupPolicy\User and take off Authenticated Users and just apply my children accounts or is there another way to accomplish this.
Thanks.
