I heard Leo Laporte there's a device you put on your car and attach antennas around and connect it to your smartphone with an app or something and Google Maps will be incredibly fast and precise while driving, without those lags when you're approaching a bend.

Can you find a link to this magical device and app recommended by Leo?

I wouldn't qualify a bunch of antennas as "a device".

I suspect snake oil.

This is the one:

Dual Electronics XGPS150A Multipurpose Universal Bluetooth GPS Receiver with Wide Area Augmentation System and Portable Attachment.

Leo Laporte mentioned it again on his show 1,650 (minute 45 more or less).

If you want to significantly improve the GPS signal on your smartphone while driving, this will avoid those lags that may make you miss a street.
