So, this summer I got a new PC (Specs are in my signature) and the GPU I got was an Asus ROG Strix RX590 8GB. It was able to run GTAV on very high on around 80 FPS. Until around a month ago, the game started crashing. I got this message: ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT. I updated my drivers. Also an issue that happened around a week ago. I use Asus AURA Sync to edit the RGB on my components and have set the GPU to glow purple, but on Startup, it has a breathing red color until the computer completely turns on. Then it starts glowing purple, as I set it. Also while playing Heroes & Generals yesterday, which is not a demanding game, small purple cubes appeared on my screen with the game freezing and after a few seconds, my monitor stopped recieving signal. I restarted my PC, and everything was normal. I have updated my drivers, ran a virus check (just in case) and the issues still occur. Someone please help.

My guess is that you may have some thermal problems. I have a MSI RX 570 8gb and I had to use MSI afterburner to get it running a bit cooler.

Artifacting lower fps than usual is the same problem this dude had right here:

Maybe try MSI afterburner and make the fans spin faster ( if your card is running hot), or try this right here:

How do I check my GPU Temps exactly? Also, GTA crashed again (sorta). In the middle of the game, the game froze, my audio froze and I had to restart my PC.
