GPU and APU

When I connect the graphics card to mobo and connect power cords to it, my monitor doesnt show anything! I can't use it!!! Even I changed the primary display option to PCI, but still nothing! I wanna know why that happens and how can i fix it?

Did you remember to move your monitor's video cable from the MB to the gfx card?

AHHHHH that happens all the time just the other day I installed a card for a Gentlemen whom had a APU set it all up drivers ect good to go only to get a call 15 mins later hmmmm HDMI CABLE PLUGGED INTO WRONG PORT HMMMMM.

So just connect the hdmi to gfx card and monitor, and it should work?
