gpu and cpu help 2016

I have a g3258 and r7 260x, im wanting keep my psu which is a evga 500b 80plus. Im wanting to order a gpu this week around the high 200$ range, and upgrade the cpu in about 2 weeks. (obv it woulb be bottlenecking) but i dont mind it for the short period. my mobo is the h81m-e34 socket 1150. thx guys!

With the 500W PSU, I'd suggest the GTX 960.

A 500W PSU is a little light for an R9-380, or I would suggest that instead.

You could go with a GTX 970 as long as you were not aggressively overclocking everything. You should probably upgrade your PSU when you get a chance.

I'm still happy with my 2GB model @ 1080p. But if I were to buy again, I'd go for the 4GB. As for a CPU, here is the CPU support list for that motherboard: https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H81M-E34.html#support-cpu
I assume when you say "high $100", you mean somewhere below $200. ...and be a big step up from the dual core.
