[SOLVED] GPU Bottleneck?

Solution
Depends on resolution, application, level of detail. A "bottleneck" or gpu limitation is nothing static like brick wall you hit.

If you are gaming in 1080p the 1070ti will keep up no problem. Im 1440p high details you will most likely see a gpu limit depending on the game.

Okay, so 1070 Ti does not bottleneck with Ryzen 9 3900x in 1080p?

Nice then, I would lovely buy Ryzen 9 3900x when I have the money.

Thank you!
Buying a 3900x for gaming is a big investment if you ask me. Please look at one of the comparisons made to the 3600 and 3700x. Bottom line for me was that a 3700x is basically pushing the same fps in current titles with only a marginal lead to the 3600.

So even the 3700x for pure gaming is not a big upgrade over the 3600. I personally will get the 8 core chip with the next 3-4 years in mind. If you are a content creator its a different story
