Hi. My gpu is broken, then i unpluged the GPU from motherboard. Then i try to connect monitor to the motherboard port display, the problem is when i turn on my computer its nothing display. Why?
Your CPU needs integrated graphics....if it doesn't have it....then no video.
Also....sometimes there is a setting in the BIOS to run on integrated graphics.
exact model of this i7? motherboard model?
open the pc and look it up.(Forget the model)
Tq brother.open the pc and look it up.
oh and I7 cpu 870 is not 2nd gen.

So can u help me how to solve my problem?
Tq so much brothers. Refer to my mobo. Its available to upgrade procsesor? The i5 700s and the i7 800s do not have integrated graphics.
The only reason the motherboard has the outputs is because the motherboard supports CPUs that do.
If you look at ASUS's compatibility list, you'll see it notes the CPUs that have an iGPU.

You're not going to see anything without a GPU.

Tq for your advise broYou could only go to an i7-880, which isn't all that useful since you already have an i7-870. A meaningful upgrade would involve a newer platform which means a new motherboard.
