Hello I am looking into new GPU not the best yet still learning. And I dont need the greatest and latest yet for budget and money wise. Is this card works well and or compatible with Asrock x99m and intel i7 6 core 5820k. My board slot is a Pcie 3.0

Im just using this easy card to play on xbox series X I dont need the best. Wondering if it will just be enough just to use the elgato with discord

Honestly, the way things are now, even at the low-end, I can't recommend the GTX 1650 for any gamer. Here's why:
MSI GeForce GTX 1650 Ventus 4GB - $152
That card won't be useful for very long because it's old (came out 4 years ago), it's weak as hell and only has 4GB of VRAM. This is the card that I would get if I were you:
Powercolor Radeon RX 6600 Fighter 8GB - $200

The RX 6600 is 32% more expensive than the GTX 1650 but it's also 120% more potent. That's right, it's more than double the rendering speed of the GTX 1650. Also, it has double the amount of VRAM (4GB vs. 8GB) which means that it will remain a very capable 1080p gaming card for years to come.

If paying 132% of the GTX 1650's cost for the RX 6600 nets you 220% of the GTX 1650's performance plus 200% of the GTX 1650's VRAM, you'd have to be insane to choose the GTX 1650.

i'll second the RX 6600 as a worthwhile upgrade. for the small price increase it is a lot stronger and a solid upgrade.

a 1650 is literally almost the same performance as your 970 so it's not really an upgrade but rather a sideways move.
