GPU cards in sli 950's and my older 750

System Specs:

- Windows 7, 64-bit/ Intel i7 3.3GHz/ 48GB ddr4/ SLI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950/ 850 watt power/ MoBo MSI X99S SLI PLUS
...Also do I need to upgrade my OS to Win. 10? I think Win. 7 can use all the ram but I'm no expert.

Q:

- Is it possible to utilize my GTX 750 Ti with the 950's in SLI?

No... must be same ... SLI in lo yo moderate cards generally is not advantageous ... works great on 970 and 980... but two 960s can't catch a 970 in performance whereas two 970s will crush a 980.

You can however sell the Ti or use it as a PhysX card

Unless you play Ashes of Singularity, then it's a different story.

My two GTX 960 4GB benchmark as high as a GTX 980 or GTX 1060 in Firestrike and Time Spy and play my games just as well. Until just a few months ago I owned a GTX 980 in one of my four PCs so I do have a point of comparison. I also have a PC with two GTX 950s in SLI. Its as fast or faster than a GTX 970 save for the 2GB frame buffer. Yes, until recently I had a GTX 970 in my possession to compare. I'm constantly buying and selling hardware - just a hobby.

If you have a single lower end card like the GTX 950 or GTX 960 don't completely dismiss going SLI if you can get a second card (new or used) for cheap. The results can be quite good. That said, they must be identical to do so.
