Hello!
Some time ago I built a computer for daily use and some light gaming. It was all fun and games until a thunderstorm. I forgot to disconnect power supply and my motherboard died. I replaced it with a new one. Everything was working perfectly upon some time ago when my GPU started to stop working correctly while using computer. A restart would usually fix it but now it seems like it has permanently stopped working.
When I turn on my computer, POST phase takes like 20 seconds (when everything was fine, it was about 2 seconds). But it passes. When I get into Windows, it shows Code 43 on my GPU and my resolution is low. Also there are small blue squares displayed on darker areas of the screen. I am certain that GPU causes all these problems because I put it in different, perfectly working system and same problems. I've tried reinstalling drivers, checked all connections, checked if GPU is seated properly, replaced CMOS battery and so on. I am on the verge of just throwing the damn thing into a oven. I also doubt If Windows has anything to do with this because of the long POST times. What can I do?
My specs:
MB: Asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti (device manager detects that it is a GTX 750 Ti. It doesn't just show unknown device)
RAM: Dual Channel 8GB 1333 MHz
