Question GPU Comparison and Shader Processing Units? (Need an expert)

Hi there,

I'm looking to buy a graphics card and my budget is around 200$.
I'll be using the card for gaming and video editing for youtube
Also, cooling performance and noise is an important issue for me.
My gaming and working resolution is 1080p. (May try 1440p on some games, but not as the main res)

Few cards that I look for have similar performance in terms of gaming FPS situations but, I see that the shader processing units (SPU)* and Actual shader performance values differentiate very far from each other in some cases.

How important is this regarding my personal use?
Radeon RX 580 MSI Armor OC 8GB (2017) has 2304 SPUs.
RX 5500 XT Sapphire Pulse 8GB (2019) has 1408 SPUs
GTX 1650 Super has only 1280 SPUs, but some say NVidia cards SPUs are more complex so the amount does not really matter(?)

I compared a lot of cards in game-debate.com/gpu
But I need an expert on this stuff to make me better understand the use and importance of this SPU value.

Also; please look at this comparison between RX 5500 XT 8GB vs GTX 1660 TUF 6GB . And please tell me what do you think is better suited in terms of video editing, cooling, shader processing units(?)
