Hey everyone, I’m at my wits end with trying to figure out what’s going on with this crash. PC specs listed at the bottom

I’ve been having this crash since around October last year, seems to be pretty random which games cause it. Basically at some point during a session, my monitors will lose input, my fans speed up, I can still hear audio and my other peripherals still work. I need to hard reset every time this happens.

Some games work fine and I won’t crash at all, for example I can play Elden ring or palworld for as long as I want, but baldurs gate 3 will inevitably crash the gpu at some point. Enshrouded seems to cause the crash pretty much immediately, so I’ve been using that to try and troubleshoot what’s going on. So far I have tried:

- uninstalled and reinstalled gpu drivers
- clean windows install
- formatted all drives and ran game with minimum software installed
- rolled back drivers to before the crash started
- limiting gpu in msi afterburner works on some games, but not others
- same with lowering game settings
- updated BIOS
- changed to PCIe 3.0 in BIOS
- changed to a more aggressive fan curve
- event viewer was initially showing errors with game input service and nvlddmkm, but have resolved those and crash still happens. No errors show in event viewer other than unexpected reboot
- WhoCrashed yields no results
- reset all cables throughout pc
- tested with my old 1080, enshrouded ran without crashing

I’m sure there’s more things I have tried that I forgot to list, tried pretty much everything I could find online to fix or figure out what’s wrong with the GPU what exactly is causing it to crash. I downloaded HWInfo and have logs for when it crashes running enshrouded, I also have logs for a crash during 3DMark test. I’ve put these in a google drive link if anyone can see the cause in them, also have included screenshots of HWInfo sensors while pc is sitting idle in the folder.

At this point I’m not really sure what else to try. I still need to source a second PCIe cable for the psu to test using 2 cables, instead of the one with two 6 + 2 pins connectors at the end. Other than that next thing I can think of would be replacing thermal pads and paste to see if that makes any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m about to throw my GPU through a wall

The above is about the symptoms.
It's somewhere between the gpu, the motherboard, and the psu, and it's not simple to narrow down, without at least swapping out parts. The psu is probably the cheapest part to start with... or if there's another PC to try the card in, that would work too.
Thanks I’ll give it a watch! I think it’s the gpu since everything works fine with my 1080 in. Unfortunately can’t afford to buy parts just to test things though
