GPU crashes while gaming, but any other time works

When I'm browsing or watching a movie everything works fine.
But when I start to play no matter what. Fifa 14, MW1,CS GO, my gpu crashes after some time.
Sometimes earlier sometimes later.
It's old an HD4850
But I don't know whats wrong. I was trying with older drivers too.

get msi afterburner, play the games again and see how hot the gpu gets.

It could be overheating. Make sure the the GPU's fans are still spinning & not full of dust. You will also want to make sure the case has adequate cooling & airflow.

This card has had a reputation in the past to overheat a lot. It could potentially be a overheating issue.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm gonna buy a new one. Cause this is suffering.
I just don't know what should I get. cause my pc is old and I dont want bottleneck.
I bought a 750 ti and it was slowing down everything.
So I need a new gpu. But I have ddr2 ram slots, and core2duo cpu. So I dont know what to get? R7 240?250? HD something?
