GPU Decision. Help Please.

Ok so i have got my pc together and all i need now is the GPU. My budget is from $200-270. Now what i am trying to say is. The GTX 960 looks good but imo and in a lot of other peoples opinions it's going to be crap when 2015 ends. So what i need to know is..... 1) I wait for Nvidia's next mid range card release or 2) get the 960. Btw will be running 1080P. an answer from a enthusiast would be appreciated thank you. I am also looking at this like a investment.

you should have mention that - you could get the 960 today and sli tomorrow or save some more and get a 970/980

Ok give me the best GPU on both AMD and Nvidia sides for around $250

but if it was me because i'm poor id get the 960 and save up for another 960 to sli them

but that is a bad idea because of the 2gb mem and 128 bit interface

im getting confused now - maybe u'll just get myself a 280x and xfire later
