Hey guys, hope you're having a nice day.

Yesterday, a friend of mine needed to test his gfx card to make sure it was ok, after his PSU went bad; I agreed, since we have the same model (RX 580), and we proceeded to test it.
Its fans spun, but had no display, so he went to get RMA. Unfortunately, after I put mine back, I got the same.results: fans were spinning, but no display.

I tried:
  • Reseating it
  • Cleaning PCI
  • Reseating and switching RAM around
  • Resetting my BIOS
But nothing worked; it's weird to me, bc it was working just fine before we tested his card.
Also, I tried testing my MOBO display (Intel Graphics, D SUB slot), but it also didnt work.

What else can I try to pinpoint the problem?
Thanks :D

Try resetting the bios by clearing the cmos. Whether or not you've solved the issue already idk, but this could possibly help.
It's possible whatever caused his card to be defective possibly fried the PCIe x16 slot, do you have any other x16 slots on the mobo to test it out with?
The intel HD graphics probably don't work because the bios has it disabled, or the bios is prioritizing to get a display out of the GPU/PCIe slot rather then the Intel HD graphics.

So as I already said, try resetting the bios entirely.
